Citizen Participation in Transportation Planning


ABOUT TRANSPORTATION PLANNING

Transportation planning involves many activities such as bus routes, street signs, traffic lights, school zones, new streets, highway improvements, landscaping, air quality, traffic, and speed limits to name a few. The Regional Planning Commission (RPC) wants to know about the transportation needs in your community.

What kind of transportation do you use most often?

Listed below are activities that the RPC will include in its Long Range Transportation Plan also called the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). On a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being least important and 5 being most important, please tell us how important each of the following activities is to your neighborhood.
